Our first book in this new, (possibly) continuing series is Karen Armstrong's A History of God. Definitely my favorite biography out there. She really highlights what makes me so god damn popular.It is a highly detailed account of the 3 major religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. How they are all connected by a single GOD and how they each choose to worship him. Tracing back to the earliest recorded histories of each.
I highly recommend it to everyone, from the most informed theologian to the common man on the street with an interest in where their religion came from. Published in 1993, it is still the best definitive summary of the History of God.
